Few 18-year olds could ever boast a resume as impressive as Cameron Waters, one of V8 Supercars’ genuine future stars.
At just 18, Cameron has already chalked up two starts in the Bathurst 1000 where he holds the record as the youngest driver to ever start the Great Race.
Cameron is perhaps best known for winning 7mate’s reality TV series Shannons Supercar Showdown, securing a coveted place on the grid for the 2011 Bathurst 1000.
In the same year, Cameron dominated the Australian Formula Ford Championship, winning one-third of the races to become the youngest ever champion in the series’ 43-year history.
Cameron’s next target is to win the Dunlop V8 Supercar Series, where he will compete in 2013 for MindaMotorsport driving an ex-Garry Rogers Motorsport (GRM) Commodore with technical assistance from the former Bathurst-winning team.
